This Privacy Policy applies to the website mypocketpdf.com, related pages, and our mobile applications (together, the “Service”), operated by MyPocketPDF (“we,” “us,” or “our”), based in India. For privacy questions, email [email protected] or use our Contact page.

2. How we process your files

What this means in practice:

• Local processing: Many conversions and edits happen on your device using browser technologies such as JavaScript and WebAssembly.
• No long-term file archive: We do not operate a user document storage product. Closing the tab clears in-memory processing for browser tools.
• Exceptions: A small number of features may require temporary server-side processing (for example, certain advanced conversions). When that happens, files are processed only to complete your request and are not kept as a personal file repository. We do not use your document contents to train marketing profiles.

*“No server uploads” describes our primary client-side architecture. Always check the tool page if a feature notes a temporary server step.

3. Information we collect

Because accounts are optional/not required for core tools, collection is limited:

• Usage analytics: We use aggregated analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand which pages and tools are used, approximate geography, device/browser type, and referral sources. This helps us fix bugs and prioritize features.
• Log and security data: Standard web server logs may include IP address, timestamps, requested URLs, and error diagnostics — used for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
• Local preferences: We may store settings in your browser (LocalStorage or similar), such as language or UI preferences. This data stays on your device unless you clear site data.
• Communications: If you email us or use the contact form, we receive the information you choose to send (name, email, message) so we can reply.
• Advertising technology: If ads are shown, advertising partners may collect data as described in Section 5 and our Cookie Policy.

We do not require you to create an account to merge, convert, compress, or edit PDFs with our standard tools.

5. Advertising and third parties

MyPocketPDF may display advertisements (including Google AdSense or similar networks) to keep the tools free. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, measure performance, and — depending on your region and consent settings — personalize ads.

• We do not sell your PDF files to advertisers.
• Third parties do not receive the contents of documents you process in our tools as part of ad targeting.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

7. Data retention

• Processed files: Not retained as a personal document library on MyPocketPDF.
• Analytics & logs: Kept for a limited period needed for analysis, security, and operations (typically up to 14–26 months for analytics tools, unless configured shorter).
• Support emails: Retained as long as needed to resolve your request and for legitimate business records.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email [email protected] with enough detail for us to respond. You can also:

• Clear cookies and site data in your browser settings
• Use browser controls or industry opt-outs for interest-based advertising where available
• Disable non-essential cookies where a consent mechanism is presented

9. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We operate from India.
