1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and MyPocketPDF (“we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding your use of mypocketpdf.com, related websites, and our mobile applications (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
MyPocketPDF provides online and mobile tools to work with PDF and related document formats — including (without limitation) merging, splitting, converting, compressing, editing, signing, and organizing files. Features may change over time. Some tools process files primarily on your device; others may use temporary server-side processing as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided for personal and legitimate business use. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any file you submit to a tool.
3. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
4. Intellectual property
The Service — including software, design, branding, text, graphics, and logos — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or redistribute our software or content except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
Your files remain yours. You retain all rights to documents you process with the Service. You grant us only the limited technical permission needed to process a file for the request you initiate (for example, to run a conversion you start).
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate others’ rights
- Upload or process malware, or attempt to compromise security
- Overload, scrape, crawl, or automate the Service in a way that harms availability
- Circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls
- Misrepresent your identity in communications with us
- Use the Service to infringe copyrights or privacy rights of others
- Remove or obscure notices, branding, or legal links from the Service
We may suspend or block access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or abused the Service.
6. Advertising
The Service may display third-party advertisements. Ads help us keep tools free. Advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. We are not responsible for third-party ad content or destinations linked from ads.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Keep backups
Always keep a copy of your original files. Document processing can fail due to corrupt inputs, browser limits, or device issues. We are not responsible for loss of local data.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC USE CASE (INCLUDING LEGAL, MEDICAL, OR FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS).
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYPOCKETPDF AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold harmless MyPocketPDF and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your files, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
10. Changes and termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the Service at any time.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
